Commentary
The Servant's intercession in Isaiah 53:12 is not only the prayer from the cross but an ongoing ministry. Hebrews 7:25 describes the risen and ascended Christ as "always living to intercede" for believers. The crucifixion was the basis of the intercession; the resurrection is the ongoing ministry of intercession.
